The Joy of Books (Filmed in Toronto)
Duke of Humphrey’s Library, Bodleian, Oxford University
The Bodleian is one of the great and most architecturally stunning libraries of the world, full of rare manuscripts that date back for centuries. According to the Bodleian’s website, it contained “not only a collection of books and manuscripts; it also housed pictures, sculptures, coins and medals, and ‘curiosities’: objects of scientific, exotic or historical interest, including even a stuffed crocodile from Jamaica.” (Click here for a beautifully illustrated history of the library.)
